Compliance, handled.
Forklift propane is safe when cylinders are in date, valves are sound, and operators are trained. We take care of the first two and help with the third.
Requalification
DOT requires periodic requalification of propane cylinders (12 years from manufacture, then every 5). We inspect and re-stamp on site and record every cylinder’s status.
Cage & storage
Cages placed per NFPA 58 setbacks, locked, and labeled. We’ll review your current setup during the site survey.
Operator swap training
A 15-minute walkthrough for new crews: shutoff, coupler, seating, leak check. Available on request.
Leaks
Smell gas at the cage or on a truck? Shut the cylinder valve, move the lift outdoors if safe, keep ignition sources away, and call us. For an uncontrolled leak call 911.
